About

There are a lot of things I could tell you “about” me, but many thing you will discover as you read my blog and visit my other sites Choose a Better Life ™ and Stephanie Up Front.  However, there are a few basic things you should know …

• Like you, I wear many hats – mom (to both human kids and big dogs), wife, daughter, sister, friend, business owner, author, and speaker.

• I am a bit of a daredevil and love roller coasters, driving fast, and jumping out of airplanes (I am hoping to become a licensed skydiver.)

• I love to laugh and have been told my laugh resembles squeaky windshield wipers, and a hyena.  I’ve also been told my laugh is like nothing else and many people don’t know how to describe it.  I have actually had a bag put over my head by a waiter in a restaurant and I’ve cleared out a bar simply by enjoying the company I was with.

• I love art and although I’m nowhere near being classified as an artist I like to dabble with acrylics, mosaics, photography, and just about anything creative.

• I’ve been blessed to travel some and hope to get to a place in life where I can live abroad for several months at a time.

• I absolutely love meeting new people and hearing their stories.  Everyone has a story, a history, and a unique set of experiences that makes them who they are.

• I believe your past does not define you, but refines you and makes you better equipped to serve people today.

• I am proud of all three of my daughters and look forward to what the future holds in store for each of them.

• I am a firm believer in personal choice and know that having a choice is having power.  We always have a choice.

• And finally, regardless of my actions or deeds, I am deeply loved by the Creator of this universe.  He delights in me and rejoices over me with singing.  This is equally true of you as well.
